She was also a proud grandmother and an active member of her church. She had a very large heart, and despite her medical condition she still loved to laugh and enjoy the company of others. She also enjoyed gardening and playing cards with her friends.
What Happened to Kyle?
Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) has been placed in foster care, where he is joined by his foster sister Kyle (Christine Elise). She is a rebellious teenager and a fierce protector of her brother. Unfortunately, a mysterious doll named Chucky (Gerrit Graham) has returned to try and steal her soul.
It’s no secret that the Child’s Play franchise has a long history of bringing familiar characters back into the fold, and this is especially true for Kyle. She is franchise royalty, having appeared in the first movie and Cult of Chucky, and was ushered back into the story line with the third film in the series.
However, it is also fair to say that her death in 2023 was a little bit of a letdown. While it’s not surprising that the show would end with Kyle’s body being blown up in a bomb, her death was rather detached from the action and it could have been much more heartbreaking had it been a physical loss.
Another interesting detail is that despite her strong history in the franchise, her death was never really tied into the plot at all. Throughout the entire film she remains a relatively minor character, and her death feels quite detached from Andy’s struggle. This might have been to give the episode more drama and emotion, but it’s a pretty big letdown for fans of the show.
No Good Deed Goes Unpunished
While Kyle does save Andy in the final moments of the film, she becomes homeless and her station wagon is wrecked in a crash. This is a very telling detail for the film, as it indicates that she was one of the few people who had no idea that Chucky was alive in her home.
No OSHA Compliance: There is a lot of danger in the toy factory where Chucky has his last moments onscreen. There are machines which can maim, mangle, and kill, pipes dripping molten plastic that don’t seem to have any emergency shutoffs, and no escape routes from the factory at all.
Deadly Nosebleed: There are many nosebleeds in the film as Chucky’s doll body becomes more human, and a major one towards the end where Chucky attempts to transfer his soul but fails because he took too long.
What Happened to Andy?
The first episode of the new Chucky series, the USA Network and SYFY show based on the Child’s Play films, alludes to the fact that Andy Barclay is still alive. He is the boy whose Good Guy doll Chucky had attempted to possess in the original 1988 film, and has been involved in a number of battles against the serial killer-possessed doll ever since.

However, they are soon spotted and confronted by the headmaster of Hackensack High School, Father Bryce.
The exorcism is successfully performed, and Chucky’s soul is freed from the doll, but not before he kills everyone in the room, including Father Bryce. The evil doll is then transferred into Nica Pierce’s body, and the two of them escape the hospital.
Despite her initial denial, Nica eventually admits that she has a child that’s been possessed by the evil doll. She also reveals that the girl’s father has died, and her mother has moved in with them.
After a brief stint in prison for his involvement with the Good Guy dolls, Andy and Kyle are released from jail and set off on an expedition to track down all the remaining possessed Chucky dolls. As they hunt down these murderous toys, the pair are joined by Jake Wheeler and Devon Evans.
What Happened to Chucky?
Chucky’s soul was transferred to a new body in 2023. It appears that he has reunited with his ex-girlfriend Tiffany, who has resurrected him by using parts of other Good Guy dolls to sew him back together.

Meanwhile, Andy and Kyle track down one of the escaped Chuckys and persuade a girl named Becky to bring her doll outside for them to see. She is surprised to see her stuffed animal talking to her, but the doll is unafraid of her and calls him Charlie.
When Becky is hugs her doll, Chucky looks directly at Andy and speaks to him in his Good Guy voice. The two share a moment before Andy pulls out his gun and shoots him in the head.
Later, when Barb and her nanny Jill are Skypeing, she goes up to the attic to look for her daughter Alice, who has not returned from her school trip. She catches sight of Chucky in the shelf behind her.
As she approaches, she finds Chucky holding a bucket of rainwater. The water spills out onto Jill’s feet, and it electrocutes her, killing her.
With her power cut off, she takes a knife to the head of Chucky and tries to kill him. But he is quickly stopped by her sister Nica, who tells her that she can’t kill her.

Kyra Elise Gardner’s Living With Chucky will finally give audiences an inside look at this infamous horror franchise, Variety reports. The doc will include interviews with the cast members Alex Vincent, Jennifer Tilly and Lin Shaye (Insidious), as well as franchise creator Don Mancini and Mr Charles Lee Ray himself Brad Dourif.
In the first season of Chucky, Jake Wheeler unknowingly buys a possessed Good Guys doll from a yard sale in Hackensack, New Jersey. His father disapproves of his new hobby, but Jake soon learns that the doll is actually a reanimated doll that once belonged to Charles Lee Ray.
Once the town finds out about this, they are forced to confront their darkest secrets, as the possessed doll enacts his revenge and wreaks havoc on the town. In the process, Jake meets his bully Lexy Cross, her boyfriend Junior, and his classmate Devon Evans, who hosts a podcast about Charles Lee Ray.
When the school talent show rolls around, Chucky convinces Jake to perform a ventriloquism act to humiliate Lexy. This leads to a slew of violent murders, and it’s up to Jake and his new friends to stop Chucky before he does too much more damage.
The Chucky TV series was renewed for a third season earlier this month by USA Network and Syfy. The show will be back with a brand-new set of victims in 2023, as the Good Guy doll-turned-psychopath is set to continue his killing spree.
As a bonus, the show will also be returning to Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood next year. A house based on the series will be the first haunted attraction announced for the event’s next two years, and more haunts are set to arrive throughout 2023.

To prove that he was just a child’s toy, CEO of the Play Pals company Sullivan (Peter Haskell) has Chucky re-assembled. This reawakens the soul of Chucky and he begins to search for Andy.
